It seems clear that Ms. Booksamaze really wants to help those who want to self-publish.

However, I am skeptical of statistics in her talk: "India's largest publishing platform", "28000 published authors", "thousands of best-selling books". I noticed that she does not mention even a single such book. Also, she has not self-published a single book herself through NOTION PRESS (her ad is sponsored by NOTION PRESS). "The proof of the pudding lies in the eating." If she had self-published a book via Notion Press, her ad would have sounded authentic. She says she has reviewed seven or eight self-published books published by self-publishing house Notion Press, but she does not give the name of any of these seven or eight self-published books; she should have mentioned their names to make her presentation more persuasive.

The biggest false impression that all newbies will get from this superficial talk is that everything is FREE - they do not have to pay anything to self-publish their books. This cannot be true. A self-publishing author must pay for printing costs - the advantage of self-publishing is that you can choose the number of copies you want printed - a printing press will PRINT TO ORDER - that is, it will print the exact number of copies you order. PRINT TO ORDER sounds glamorous but it is not a new idea really. Indian printing presses have been doing PRINT TO ORDER for many years. I would suggest that the easiest thing for Indian authors who want to self-publish would be to get in touch with local offset presses in their towns and cities, who may also DTP your manuscripts or you can get the DTP done by professional DTP typists or type them yourself. Meet and discuss your printing needs with very friendly owners and employees of local offset printing presses. India is full of them. 

No self-publishing house - NOTION PRESS or any other - can help sell your books. ULTIMATELY, it is the QUALITY of writing that will make a book sell. Of course, you will have to inform people know about your books - but LUCKILY you can use YouTube, Facebook and other social media and also your friends and relatives to help sell your self-published books. But DON'T print THOUSANDS OF COPIES of your first EXPERIMENTAL EDITION. Print maybe 10 copies, give free ARC copies to some school teachers and professors for comments, revise and edit and polish your first experimental version and print MORE COPIES now - maybe 50 or 100 - and so on. Most of the good things in life are practically free more or less - you have friendly offset printing presses waiting to help you - make it a WIN WIN situation for both! Self-publishing is the magic solution for millions of potential authors who wish to become published authors. 

It seems clear that Ms. Booksamaze really wants to help those who want to self-publish.

However, I am skeptical of statistics in her talk: "India's largest publishing platform", "28000 published authors", "thousands of best-selling books". I noticed that she does not mention even a single such book. Also, she has not self-published a single book herself through NOTION PRESS (her ad is sponsored by NOTION PRESS). "The proof of the pudding lies in the eating." If she had self-published a book via Notion Press, her ad would have sounded authentic. She says she has reviewed seven or eight self-published books published by self-publishing house Notion Press, but she does not give the name of any of these seven or eight self-published books; she should have mentioned their names to make her presentation more persuasive.

The biggest false impression that all newbies will get from this superficial talk is that everything is FREE - they do not have to pay anything to self-publish their books. This cannot be true. A self-publishing author must pay for printing costs - the advantage of self-publishing is that you can choose the number of copies you want printed - a printing press will PRINT TO ORDER - that is, it will print the exact number of copies you order. PRINT TO ORDER sounds glamorous but it is not a new idea really. Indian printing presses have been doing PRINT TO ORDER for many years. I would suggest that the easiest thing for Indian authors who want to self-publish would be to get in touch with local offset presses in their towns and cities, who may also DTP your manuscripts or you can get the DTP done by professional DTP typists or type them yourself. Meet and discuss your printing needs with very friendly owners and employees of local offset printing presses. India is full of them. 

No self-publishing house - NOTION PRESS or any other - can help sell your books. ULTIMATELY, it is the QUALITY of writing that will make a book sell. Of course, you will have to inform people know about your books - but LUCKILY you can use YouTube, Facebook and other social media and also your friends and relatives to help sell your self-published books. But DON'T print THOUSANDS OF COPIES of your first EXPERIMENTAL EDITION. Print maybe 10 copies, give free ARC copies to some school teachers and professors for comments, revise and edit and polish your first experimental version and print MORE COPIES now - maybe 50 or 100 - and so on. Most of the good things in life are practically free more or less - you have friendly offset printing presses waiting to help you - make it a WIN WIN situation for both! Learn to self-edit by improving your grammar and composition skills in English and other languages.

If you are weak in spelling, grammar, and punctuation, and you don't know how to write well because you have not read some interesting and helpful books on English composition, and you do not have word power because you have not studied an interesting book like WORD POWER MADE EASY by Norman Lewis, and you want to depend on ghost writers to do the work for you by paying them, you do not deserve to be called a writer, and you will never learn to be a genuine writer but will continue to be a fake author resting on the shoulders of ghosts, you will not be a genuine author. Why not learn to write well and have fun writing? It can be done.
